For example, if a car has broken down on the road, the Distance Matrix API can return which tow truck will arrive fastest to help.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>Distance Matrix API<\/strong> allows you to:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Calculate the distance matrix for up to 200 points;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When estimating the distance, consider routes that avoid tunnels or ferries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use of restricted areas registered by the client so that the route avoids passing through these areas;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The API response will show:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Approximate distance between elements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimated time between elements;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimated average speed between elements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<cite><strong>Note:<\/strong> This service does not return detailed route information.
